Updated the folks in I.T. about what may need troubleshooting with my servers while I'm gone. Got them up to date on my major database projects. Got some advice from a regular mapping customer about Switzerland ("The food sucks.")
Made more hotel reservations thanks to hrs.com. Frankfurt will be here if I can manage to find the place after traveling for 24 hours. Austria will be here, again assuming I can find the place.

Oh, by the way - "orienting the map" means putting east up (orient = east) because that's the way western maps used to be drawn. And so remaining oriented makes sense for me, since I'll be east of my usual location (or, hmmmm, very very far west of it).
