The Importance of Duct Tape

When traveling, duct tape is of prime importance. Pack it. This trip, I've used it to hold together electrical converters and inverters that otherwise would fall out of the socket. I've used it to tape stuff over the windows so we can sleep in the midnight sun. I wanted to use it tonight to tape something over Mom's touch-pad on her laptop so she would quit swearing grouching about messing up her typing. Except, horrors, I couldn't find the duct tape.

So I went to the car to get the scotch tape. Found it just fine, right where it's supposed to be since I haven't used it yet.

Don't laugh. If you pack duct tape because of this blog, you'll be thanking me the next time you use it in your travels.
